My notes disappeared after updating โ€” what happened?

NoteStudio stores all data in IndexedDB on your device. Clearing app data or browser storage will erase notes. Always use Export before clearing storage. If you upgraded from an older version using localStorage, your notes may need to be migrated.

Can I sync notes between devices?

NoteStudio is intentionally offline-first. There is no cloud sync โ€” your data stays private on your device. You can manually transfer notes using the PDF or text export features.

The microphone isn't working โ€” how do I fix it?

Voice input requires microphone permission. On Android, go to Settings โ†’ Apps โ†’ NoteStudio โ†’ Permissions and enable Microphone. Make sure you're using a supported browser (Chrome recommended).

How do I export my notes?

Open a note and tap Export in the bottom bar. You can copy all text or save as PDF. The PDF preserves colors, headings, and formatting.
