This privacy policy describes how the NoteStudio app collects, uses, and protects your information. NoteStudio is designed with privacy first — all your notes stay on your device.

Data We Collect

NoteStudio is a local notes application. Your notes are stored exclusively on your device using IndexedDB (with localStorage as fallback) and are never transmitted to external servers.

Device Permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

Camera and microphone are accessed only on explicit user action and never in the background.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the app contains ads provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect certain data according to its own privacy policy.

What AdMob may collect:
Device advertising identifiers (GAID), approximate IP address, device type and operating system, interactions with ads. This data is used to display relevant advertisements.

You can manage your advertising preferences in Android Settings → Google → Ads.

NoteStudio complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Data Security

Since all app data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device security. We recommend using a PIN or fingerprint lock screen.

We do not have access to your notes and cannot recover them if you uninstall the app or clear app data.

Children

NoteStudio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided personal data, please contact us at the address below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
